*THE CENTRE FOR NATURAL BURIAL

Giving Life Back to the Earth

Natural burial is an environmentally sustainable funeral alternative that embraces the natural cycle of life. Choosing a natural burial when planning our own funeral, or in planning the service of a loved one who has passed away helps to renew our environment while providing friends and family with an endearing, meaningful ritual. Natural Burial is a statement of personal values, and creates a natural legacy for those who live on after we are gone.

Rather than encouraging the unnecessary consumption of resources such as concrete vaults, metal caskets, and chemical preservation... a natural burial creates a living memorial using native trees, shrubs and plants. These living memorials then create natural sanctuaries for friends and family to visit and remember loved ones.
Founding Members: Christopher Roy and Mike Salisbury
